We’re sorry but while this car may still be available, this ad had expired.

I have my Daughters' 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass "S" with the original 350 Rocket for sale. It is numbers matching, but it's not stock. Nor is it a "4-4-2" or a "4-4-2" clone. Almost every one knows that "442" is supposed to represent a 4 barrel carb, (usually atop a 400 cid or 455 cid engine), 4 on the floor, and dual "2"exhaust.
This is more of a "4-3-2" even though there never was such a Cutlass. It does have the 4 barrel carb, but it's on a "3"50 cid engine, with a "three" on the tree "3"50 automatic transmission and then the dual exhaust. The only 442 part is the newer chrome rear bumper which has the cut outs for the dual trumpet exhaust tips.
Nevertheless, in it's favor, it still has the original but, mildly built 350 cid engine. Which is bored .020 over, has hyper eutectic pistons @ the stock 9.5:1 CR, and the stock crank and piston rods. But, this engine is completely "Balanced" and also includes a set of Comp Cams Roller tip rockers to help reduce friction in the valve train.
Additionally, it has the complete Edelbrock Performer RPM package. RPM cam, brushed aluminum RPM intake, 650 cfm Edelbrock Performer 4 barrel carb, plus full length ceramic coated headers, dual exhaust with Flow Masters and HEI ignition. Billet pulleys and some chrome goodies. The engine is followed up by a non-original, mildly built TH350 automatic transmission, a 3.42 posi-traction differential and 4 wheel Disc brakes with a polished stainless steel booster.
The suspension? Front & rear sway bars, South Side Machine lower control arms, and all of these suspension parts including the coil springs, and the front "A" body arms are powder coated. The rest of the under body was cleaned up and wire brushed and then painted about 20 years ago with POR15.
The body is finished in Imron Medium Jade Green, including the engine compartment the inside's of the doors and the trunk. The interior is mostly stock with a few added gauges and an under the dash stereo/CD player. It has the original Ralley wheels, with polished stainless steel trim rings and the correct caps, inner trim rings, and chrome lug nuts.
This North Carolina car has been in our family for over 20 years, and we've fixed it up little by little, one task at a time throughout all of these years. Has 94K miles on it, less then 15K since rebuild. My daughter has never had a place to keep it and Dad has always kept it stored, maintained, dependable and safe. It's not a concourse car, but it sure is a dam nice driver. We have over $22,000 invested and I'm just trying to get back $2 for every $3 that we put into it, not including hundreds of our own personal hours. So, our loss is the buyers gain.
I'm not new to this custom business. I just don't make any money at it.
