This car is a very well preserved survivor. I don't know about the original owners but the second owner of the vehicle was an old lady who drove it until around 1991 when she died. Her husband parked it in the shed for the next 20 years near Monaga, MN until he died around 2011. It was then sold to a guy who planned to restore but after letting it sit outside two years he had to move and couldn't take it with him. I purchased it in 2012 and brought it to Fargo where I've been slowly working on it since then.

Since purchase I have done the following:
Replaced all 4 tires.
Replaced the intake manifold with that of a 1971 442 and added a 600 cfm Edelbrock carb.
New wires, plugs, distributor cap
Had the fuel tank drained, fuel lines replaced, and new fuel pump put in.
New battery
New belts
New master cylinder included, but not installed.

Known issues:
Blower is out, belt was still on AC compressor when I got it, might just need a charge, might need more.
Brake lines are old and have been repaired once, rear brakes have a leak somewhere and do not work.

The interior is in excellent shape for its age, minor fading, a small hole in the headliner. The body and soft top are both in very good condition. The soft top has a place by the rear window that's bubbling up. All for fenders have at least some minor surface rust but only one appears to have perforation. Very restorable and in amazing shape for the region. Still has the 1971 MN Parks sticker in the window. 86k miles, I've put less than 500 miles on it since purchase. Car was in storage the past year and a half and didn't leak a drop.
