Ad Description
I am looking to sell my 1968 Oldsmobile 442. This car was Canadian built and spend almost all its life in Canada. Oldsmobile fans will know that the GM plant in Canada kept records of all the options that came with the cars out of the factory and that information can (and already has) been pulled for this car and is listed below.

I have had to do no work to this car except enjoy it. The previous owner saved this car about 4 years ago from rusting away and did everything.

The engine in it now is a rebuilt 455 with Ga Heads. The original 400 blew a piston in 1972(ish) and was replaced by the factory. The replacement 400 did not have a serial number etched into it so retaining it did not seem worth it. The rear fenders were replaced along with the trunk floor plans to ensure rust would not remain on the car. The front disc breaks were rebuilt along with the 4bbl carb. The seat covers were replaced with brand new ones along with the bumpers. The has a TH400 automatic transmission and 3.08 gear ratio. Paint was completely redone to its original Willow Gold.

Pictures of the entire restoration process can be found on the link below. Please review them to see the original condition and how it looks now and to learn more about the car. There is also a little information about the owner history which is nice.

If you have any questions or would like close up pictures of any particular places, please contact me. I maybe interested in other 1970-1972 driver quality Cutlass/442s for trades if available. I will try to be as prompt as possible in my responses.
