1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 hardtop, well done tribute in very nice condition. An original code 75 Matador Red car which was restored to correct 442 specs about 7 years ago and driven 6,000 miles since. A very solid rust free car including the frame, floor pans which are super clean and patch free, quarters, doors, trunk pan, and fenders. All the 442 appearance and numerous performance improvements were added at great cost. Has the functional OAI fiberglass Ram Air hood , OEM Rocket Rally Pac gauges with tic tach toc , OEM 442 plastic front grills, OEM 442 rear bumper with newer 2.5 in a custom bent Flowmaster exhaust and trumpet extensions, 1970 Rally Sport mirrors, Sport Steering wheel, Super Stock 2 wheels with like new Firestone Indy tires, FE2 suspension upgrades ( firm springs, shocks, rear OEM sway bar, boxed control arms) , and all the correct 442 badges. The original 350 was fully rebuilt to Joe Mondello specs the Olds expert engine builder ( runs very strong like a W-31). Performance Crane cam, ported and polished heads with larger Manley valves, hardened seats, and Chrome Molly roller rockers. Edelbrock aluminum dual plane intake, 600 cfm Holley 4v, Mallory coil with Pertronix electronic ignition, plus a 4 row radiator with aux electric fan. Engine starts up instantly and idles very smooth without any lumpy cam lobe. Sounds and runs fantastic with no engine noises or smoking. The original 350 turbo trans was also rebuilt professionally and it shifts perfectly . Both bumpers have been re-chromed and look sharp. Nice stainless trim throughout. Very nice correct Matador red finish with great shine and nice panel fit. There is some touch up on the roof passenger side rain gutter and along front roof edges, but does not distract from the sharp appearance of the car. Front and rear suspension is tight and the car tracks straight with no rattles, wandering or pulling. Drives and handles very well. The original black interior is very well preserved and extra clean with a beautiful dash and instrument cluster, nice door panels, flawless headliner, and the carpet looks great. Only flaw is the driver side seam separated and a small quarter size patch on the seat bottom. Everything works well including the wipers, horn, heater, am radio, dash lights, turn signals, and windows roll nicely. Trunk is very clean with full spare and jack and is rust free with no patch work. Engine compartment is also very clean and highly presentable. Overall, a great looking, running and driving car which has all the attributes of the 442 and performs extremely well. $15,700
