We are pleased to offer for sale this 1970 Oldsmobile W-31 for the first time in many years that was acquired out of a private collection. As you may know, the 1970 W-31’s were a limited production run and featured many specialized parts and upgrades! This W-31 features a hand built, 350CI V8 with an upgrade Cam from the factory, upgraded aluminum intake as well as high compression heads! The special higher shift point automatic transmission shifts smoothly and handles well going down the highway. Underneath you’ll find a 12 bolt, 3.90 gear ratio posi rear end, as well as heavy duty front sway bars and rear sway bar. The heavy-duty coil suspension additionally gives this muscle car a great ride. Because of the radical cam these cars did not come with power brakes nor air conditioning however, it does have disc brakes in the front as well as power steering. Around the body you’ll find the black paint to be in very good condition and the W-31 only fiberglass hood and rear spoiler really setting the car off. The hood does show some stress cracking which is seen in the photos, and it is equipped with a functional cold air induction system. The chrome front bumper as well as the W31 cut out rear bumper both appear to be original with minor wear present. Throughout the black vinyl interior you’ll find the bucket seats to be in excellent condition, while the dash area and console all showing great as well. When you release the hood pins, open the hood and peak into the engine bay you’ll find it nicely detailed with the hard to find air intake jumping out at you.
