1984 Hurst Oldsmobile (33,000 orig. Miles)
Ad Description
I have decided to go ahead and sell my mint cond 1984 Hurst Oldsmobile Lighting with 33,431 orig miles. I bought the car from my dad back in 2000 when it had 11,881 miles on it and was his baby as it is my baby now. The car has been in our family since day one and has never been abused and always stored indoor in climate control storage year around. The car is in PERFECT COND....and runs and drives like a brand new car ! The car has always been driven at least a few miles every couple months to keep all fluids good and to keep away dry rot.
Besides the window tint the car is 100% all orig !!! It is a very rare car being there was only 3001 1984 Hust/Olds ever made and this one is even more rare because its a hard top. Only 331 were made hard top....the rest were all t-tops which all leaked and made the seats fade and stain.
The interior of this car looks brand new and even still smells new. No rips, No tears, No stains, Nothing !! All gauges, lights, everything works perfect.....The car has Ice Cold A/C, Great Heat, Power windows, Power Locks, Cruise Control, Tilt wheel, Orig. Delco Stereo that sounds great...The famous lighting rod shifters which also work flawlessly, It really feels like your driving a brand new 1984 Hurst Olds down the road no exaggeration. This car has tons of power and throws you in your seat and will chrup second gear every time.
Just last summer in memory of my Dad's birthday we decided to get her out and give her some special treatment, not like it needed a thing but we went ahead and did the following.
New plugs, new wires, new alt, new battery, new brakes, radiator flush and fill, full transmission service with solenoids replaced as well being they go bad on these so we weren't going to take any chances, rear end gear oil was also drained and filled, power steering flush and fill, brand new tires, new air filter, carb re-built, new shocks, new floor mats, but I still have the original 1984 mats in perfect shape. I would trust this car to drive across country right now with no problems at all. I dont care were you live you can fly in and drive this car home.
NADA says the car is worth over 23,000 and it keeps going up every year..Im selling it super cheap for a fast no hassle sale. This is literally a steel. You can buy this car drive it and have a ball for 10 years and if you keep it nice you can easily double or even triple your money.
I have the Orig window sticker, all owners manuals, orig brochure I even have the orig cassette tape on how to operate the car and the extra set of keys. You will not find a nicer low mileage Hurst/Olds for this cheap anywhere. Please no trades Im down sizing thats why Im selling the car anyway.
First 17,800 gets this beautiful car, can negotiate price for serious Oldsmobile loving buyers!
