Ad Description
I am selling my 1972 Hurst Olds. It is one of 220 with the sunroof from 72. 455 engine. $20,000 firm.

It was originally bought by a preacher in Tulsa, OK. I am the 4th owner. It was a daily driver until 2003 when I put it up on blocks in the garage shortly after an engine rebuild. It has 104K miles with about 3K after the engine rebuild. I have tons of maintenance history, inspections and original documentation including the Protect-O-Plate.

Things to know: New battery, tires (from WalMart with receipt), plugs, spark wires and gas tank. The original Quadrajet is newly rebuilt. All fluids have been flushed. She runs great. The car needs paint and rubber molding for sure. Slight rust in the normal spots, but she has been in Texas and Oklahoma her whole life. Sunroof works intermittently, I think it needs a relay. Ram Air needs flapper door, foam and the vacuum motor. I added a non-stock electric fan (it's hot here in South Texas). AC parts have never been in the car since I have owned it, but I have them. Wheels need 2 rings and 1 center cap. Slight fluid leak from tranny where the speedo cable joins up. Parking brake needs the cable that goes from the pedal thru the firewall.

Included in the sale is: new headliner, molded carpet, carpet underlayment, 3M stripe kit and floor mats from Brothers. Also, a Remote Control Hurst Olds, Die Cast Hurst Olds, 2 Johnny Lightings, and some coffee table talking items. These are all shown in the google+ picture album.

She is a good car that has taken a back seat to many other projects for too long. Time for her to move onto someone who can give her some TLC. Call Jeff at (Two-One-Zero) 426-6215, or email jeffchesnut@mail.com.
Thanks!
