"Bump" ad function

I've had a couple people ask if I could develop a feature to "republish an ad and queue it back to the top. If you published an ad as a registered user, you can log in and ad to the expiration date to make the ad active again, but this doesn't actually "refresh" the ad and bring it back to the home page. I want to put this feature on my list of things to do. To be honest, I'm pretty busy with work and family now so I'm not sure how quickly I can do something like that, but I'll use this thread to post updates.

I went ahead and made a very basic function of this. Here is how to use it.

1. Log into your control panel

2. Select your ad to edit

3. Scroll towards the bottom

4. Select the "bump" option.

5. Hit save

This will republish your ad and queue it up back on the home page. You can use this feature 3 times per ad. Hopefully this makes things a little easier.

If you are trying to renew it, you will also have to add how much time you want your contact information to be displayed again too. (so just checking off the bump button will not show your contact information, you have to add time until expired).
