It Seems to Me the Ads Don't Stay Up Very Long

There were more than a few cars I was hunting and the ad had expired. I thought, damn, I missed a great opportunity. I don't think these cars were sold, I just think the ad ran out. Am I wrong?

The default to 2 weeks of being posted unless the users specifies differently. However, many ads are pulled from other sites. Under the title on the ad page, there will be a "web source" link that will open the original page of the ad. You can follow the link to see if the owners contact information is still there.
