Oldsmobile 442

1966 Olds 442 convertible restored in 1985. Also have extra parts for those of you restoring your own plus extra fabric and vinyl for this car. Prior to my purchase in 1984, car was converted to an automatic 400 turbo, but the 3 speed floor console remained untouched to this day. Trick kit was installed on 400 turbo in 1986. Then engine was changed in 2010 to a 1978 Olds 403. We have the original 400 engine, plus 1 console for automatic if a change is desired. Also have clutch peddles. Car is believed to have been a manual transmission and came with 3 speed floor console (which is still in the car), if verified, would make it one of 62 produced that year. This info we have just learn at the Iola Car show in 2015 and are in the process of doing a history search. If anyone has any information as to where and how to get this info, please contact us. Body is solid and straight with exception of rust on nose of front hood. Paint is faded on truck and hood. Photos of interior are difficult to get the true color of wine/burgundy due to the bright sunlight. What looks like fad is really over exposed. Only discolor is on top left driver's seat on curve. Car was originally target red and white top with white vinyl interior. Additional pictures upon request. This car has quite the history so if further interested, give us a call.
