1967$55,000
Oldsmobile 442
This car build started about 3 1/2 years ago as a barn find. A true 1967 Olds 442. NOT a clone. The car was completely taken apart and rebuilt from the frame up. All new everything! Powder coated frame, control arms, cross members, etc. All new bushings, fuel lines, clips, brake lines, suspension, etc. EVERYTHING was either replaced or refurbished as needed. The body had rust and all was cut out and new metal welded in. I have a photo album with pics from the day it was purchased until the day it was finished, showing all the work done. I also have a large stack of reciepts for most of the parts purchased.
The car did not have a motor or transmission, so I found a donor Olds 455 and Muncie 4 speed. Both have been rebuilt. Motor was bored .30 over and new pistons, rings, bearings, cam, lifters, roller rocker system, etc. were installed. Edelbrock Performer intake and carb also. Ceramic Headers and 3 inch exhaust. Sounds amazing!
The custom paint job is beautiful! It has hand painted pin striping. Wheels are Foose- 18 on the front and 20 on the rear. I added power brakes with disc on the front. All the bumpers, stainless, & bright work was professionally restored by Dallas Plating. Even the molding around the front and rear windows are original, but restored.
Rear end was rebuilt and 3.91 gears installed to compensate for the 20 inch wheels on the rear.
The interior was put back to original with all new upholstery, headliner, carpet and underlayment, door panels, sun visors, dash pad, and much more.
This car was restored to as close to original style as I could get, with the exception of the paint and wheels. I wanted something to set this car apart from other 442's without modifying it extensively. Any part that needed to be replaced was replaced, and any part that could be refurbished was re-used.
I could write a description about this car that would fill up this entire page, but if you are interested just call or text. Or better yet, come see it in person. You won't regret it! The car has been in 2 local cars shows and it won People's Choice in the first and in the largest car show in Columbus, GA it not only won 1st place in it's category, it also won Best of Show! It's an absolutely BEAUTIFUL car that gets the attention of a Barrett Jackson quality car.
I'm asking $55,000.00 or best offer. Please do not low ball me. It will be a waste of your time. If you have a trade offer, please be reasonable and be prepared to add cash as necessary. I will be prepared to do the same.
