We’re sorry but while this car may still be available, this ad had expired.

The owner acquired this Olds in 2020 from a private party in South shore Long Island, where it had already been converted into a 4-4-2 tribute. After making some finishing touches, he added about 6,000 miles to the odometer which reads 33,620 – a mileage which is believed to be original, but can't be confirmed. He enjoyed the Cutlass to the fullest, and he feels now is the right time to downsize his fleet of 6 cars a bit – the clean New York title is in his name.

Originally painted in “Cameo White”, the Convertible received a respray with multiple layers of a high performance Pearl White Flip-Flop paint, which shines from yellow to purple, depending on the angle you look at it. The exterior was completed with a convertible top in light blue and black 14” Oldsmobile Rally wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich radial tires. The chrome trim is in overall good condition, the tail lights show just a little bit of patina.

The original and wonderfully preserved vinyl interior features Dark blue/Light Blue upholstery, door panels in the same paint scheme and a blue dashboard. The clock was replaced with an Autometer Ultra-Lite tachometer, a set of three aftermarket gauges were mounted underneath the dashboard, a small panel with kill switches right next to it. The wooden steering wheel come from Grant's Classic Series, a modern Cassette player is mounted into the original radio cut-out.

The 455 cu in. V8 was professionally rebuilt 5 years ago and upgraded MSD ignition, headers, electric fans and some chrome. It generates 500 hp and is mated to a four-speed manual transmission, which replaced the factory three speed automatic. The power is transferred to a 12 bolt Posi rear, the suspension received a W30 upgrade and traction bars, the e-brake is new, the exhaust pipes have a 3 inch diameter and provide a deep rumble with addictive potential. The undercarriage is very clean, without any signs of leaking or weeping.

This car is being auctioned on a new classic car auction site.
