1972 Oldsmobile 442 W30 Code Convertible This is a Rare Classic only 1 of 113 Ever built (80 Automatic) Original Drive-train 455 V8 (rebuilt) TH-400 Automatic transmission OW Code TransTM Code rear axle 3:42 Gear Ratio Power Steering, Power Seat, Power Windows, Power Door Lock, Power Top is in great condition and original radio on hand but newer deck installed. Minor rust on trunk lid by key and along bottom trunk area. Two owners from new, 2nd owner owned for 42 years.Original Paint, Interior was redone years ago by adding cloth fabric to the seats so car would be more comfortable in the sunny weather. Fading so it will need to be worked on to bring it back to original vinyl condition. Car is good condition but not show condition. This is original and extremely rare. This car has always get tons of complements every time it is driven and people will always ask if it is for sale so knowing that you will have a 442 W30 matching numbers and with it being one of probably less than half of the only 80 made, and knowing that it will only get even rarer is pretty cool. Does not have AC and does not have the red inner fender wells that so many people think came stock but not in 1972. Also, in part of the stereo upgrade swapped out the left and right kick plates with ones that have a speaker in the bottom instead of the air flow vents. I have kept the original kick plates if someone wanted to restore them back to original as I just wanted better sound when driving with the top down which is 99% of the time. Windshield is in great condition. Car has always been garaged and no smoking.
