We’re sorry but while this car may still be available, this ad had expired.

I am selling my beloved 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass 'S'. This model is the sport body coupe and was the base model for the the Olds 442.

This car has a motor and transmission that run very strong; no issues whatsoever in the drive train. The Drivetrain currently has 107,829 actual miles on it. I have never had it backfire and it shifts through its gears without issue.

The carburetor will need a rebuild...it has a small leak in the float and doesn't always get the car started when prompted. I have had to cheat a couple of times by using starter fluid to get it going. The power steering pump makes some noise and could stand to be replaced. AM Radio no longer makes any nose, not sure if it is the speaker or the radio. It may need a new battery and a good fluid changeover as well.

This car is from Michigan...so there is some rust to the body and undercarriage. The floor pan does not have any holes in it as far as we can tell. The rear window seal started to leak this winter and has damaged the leather on the back seat. The front seat leather is nearly perfect.

This car is solid and with a little work can be an enjoyable daily driver. I can't provide the TLC that it needs so I want someone else to see it through the next phase of its life.

You will receive the original manuals, information booklets, and protect-o-plate ID card that came with the car from the dealership. In the trunk you will find that there are various genuine Delco parts that were stocked up on through the 70s and 80s. Mostly things life fuel filters and socket kits.

Clean title. I am the second owner.

Registration is current as a non-op.
