Ad Description
1970 442 Holiday Coupe
Believed to be W-30, but no doc's.
1970 NOM F-block 455, "C" heads
W25 HOOD, Air Cleaner, special order color
Aegean Aqua, Black Vinyl Top, Cowl Tag shows - B, Black Bench Int.
No gauge dash, AC, power brakes, Original Red wells, 12 bolt 3:23 posi, transmission just rebuilt, new tires, original exhaust still there, with trumpets. Runs, stops and drives as it should. All lights work, except dash lights, heater, wipers, etc... AC is missing compressor. Car body is 7 out of 10, small rust in bottom of front fenders, and minor rust in quarters, but not enough to replace. Trunk lip where weatherstripping goes has a bad spot. Floors are great, dash is uncracked, and uncut. I replaced carpet, but seats. headliner and door panels are original.
ONLY reason for sale is to purchase a home.
344 Lansing built 442, but only documentation that it is real, that I can find is the fenders have w30 in white marker faded, but still readable behind the battery. Wells have never been removed from car, and are faded pink on the wheel side. Sport mirrors, rear spoiler.
Will light the tires at will, and chirps 2nd every time. OW tag is gone, but you can see where it was. Possible trade plus cash my way... Try me...

Experts out there? Any reason to believe its not a real W30?

Doesn't say anything about F heads or having a correct trans, etc... Being an AC and PB car, and no paperwork, have a hard time believing its pedigree. The seller has it tagged as Aegean Aqua, it would have a -- paint code for that, car is twilight blue in the pics.

Car has - B on cowl tag, should have black vinyl top. Car is not Blue, it is turquoise. The car was repainted at some point prior to 1990. Has bench seat interior, non-rally dash, AC/Power steering and brakes.

When this car was ordered, it is clear that M40 - Turbo 400, G91 - 3:23 12 bolt rear, C60 Air conditioning, which required M40 and G91, N34 sport steering wheel, N47 power steering, JL2 Power Disc brakes and N66 Super Stock wheels were ordered. U21 Rocket rally pack was not ordered. W26 and W27, console and bucket seats were not ordered either. Car was Aegean Aqua from factory, black vinyl top and black stripes. Again, I don't know if it is a true W30 or not, and since GM doesn't keep any records, who knows... But I have every belief that it is... thanks for looking at it...

Looks like the price went down on this to $10,500. Unfortunately, looks like it needs a rebuilt motor now too.
