Selling my 1970 Oldsmobile,442. Has the big block 455-365 horsepower with the 400 transmission. Power steering,disc brakes, with the 400 transmission . Car is straight and has lots of potential. Been sitting a long time, needs new owner. Will start but hearing a light knock in motor. I'm only asking 12k for car. No SCAMMERS, I know how you work. CASH only. Don't waste my time please, these cars will never loose value. Great buy for 12k. FIRM on price. Thanks for looking. .W-27 rear end 12 bolt positrac.

The thousand dollar question... is that just a W27 cover or the actual rear end.

The housing is rusty so its definitely just the cover.

the more important question,is it real. whats with the olds emblem on the hood,didnt know script olds on 442

I want to say I read somewhere that it was hit or miss if your car (even 442s) came with Oldsmobile script on the hood. I'll see if I can track down where I read that. I think it may have been the case if you didn't have a OAI hood.

Having the Oldsmobile script is correct on a non OAI 442. Also it has the woodgrain on the lower dash which was standard on a 442, optional on an "S" model, but rare.
