Well! Working with a reputable great shop really pays dividends. The car was ready exactly as they said it would be and I picked it up last night. It's on the road! Holy Moly!

Congrats on that! Nice to hear you are having a pleasant experience with the shop this time. Those previous stories were ridiculous.

The stories certainly were ridiculous. I've had the car for 8 weeks and it's done! It's for sale. What's the bid?Image titleImage title

My former mechanic even went to the trouble of having the hood latch replated.

Car sold for 22k. I'm happy. A man from Germany bought it.

Congrats on the sale! Seems like you are doing some work with getting rid of some cars successfully.

I got out of the lease I had. A friend of a friend took it over. As of right now my Cutlass is in my little two car garage. My DD and the wife's car are outside in the small driveway. In the winter I will store it.

Looking back, I thought I would like to have the warehouse and all the attendant things that go with it. I found however, that being a half hour away from it impacted me to the point where it was a real PITA to go out there, get a car, return it when done at a show or whatever. The problem was, is that I moved away from the location. I used to be 5 minutes from the warehouse. It made sense. Didn't any longer. Just another grand I don't have to lay out every month too.
